Supported Living services in North Wales

We are developing our Supported Living services in Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham to offer citizens with a wide range of different needs the right support to live safely and independently, whilst encouraging positive risk taking that allows them to develop new skills and confidence.

We can support people with learning disabilities, profound and multiple learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, acquired brain injuries, mental health problems and physical disabilities.

Support is tailored to the individual needs and aspirations of our clients to help them lead the lives they choose, in their own homes and as part of their local communities.

BRANCH MANAGER

“I’ve been in care for 37 years and I have experience with learning disability, challenging behaviours, autism awareness, epilepsy, down’s syndrome, physical disability, dementia, acquired brain injury and children’s holiday cover. My ethos is very much to ‘work with’ clients, not ‘to do’ for them; getting them involved and upskilling them so that they have as much choice and control over their lives as possible. Seeing people become empowered and independent is so rewarding.”

“I wish to thank everybody involved in the wonderful care of my aunt. I am so grateful to you all and think her carers are the salt of the earth. It gives me comfort that although I live overseas I know she couldn’t be in better hands.”

“I cannot thank you all from branch staff to care staff for the care that has been provided to my parents. When they became poorly Radis branch staff increased the package of care immediately and the care staff was amazing, they looked after my parents to the best of their ability.”

“They don't rush me; they support me to be as independent as possible. I will chat things through with my main carer, it is always confidential, and I feel at ease with them, we have a really nice relationship.”

“Radis have been my carers in excess of 10 years and in that time I have come to look on them as extended family. The girls are always cheerful and I enjoy the banter and I feel safe in their care. My family and I rely on them enormously and I know that it gives my wife peace of mind to know that I am well cared for. The manager and office staff are unfailingly helpful and we have a good rapport/relationship with them. They will always try to help if we need extra care or make changes, if at all possible. I/we have no hesitation in recommending Radis in Welshpool to other families and we look forward to many more years of their care.”

“Thank you so much for the most amazing, wonderful and caring service you and your team have provided for my mum, especially since she has recently come out of hospital. Constantly checking on her when she came out, you’ve taken a huge weight off my mind – what an amazing service! I would happily recommend Radis Community Care.”
