Shropshire

We have been supporting people across Shrewsbury, Wem, Whitchurch, Market Drayton and surrounding areas to remain independent and well in their own homes since 2004.

We offer support to frail older people and those with physical and learning disabilities, dementia, mental health problems and other support needs.

Our care workers pride themselves on helping people to remain as independent and well as possible in their own homes by providing the support that they need with everyday tasks such as preparing meals, cleaning and laundry, personal care and getting dressed, taking medication at the right times and support getting out and about.

We operate a Rapid Response service to support people with end of life care in partnership with the Clinical Commissioning Group.

We also support adults with complex health problems, requiring nursing care and also adults with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and associated needs.

Joanne Randle

BRANCH MANAGER

“After looking after my Grandad who developed dementia this became a passion of mine as seeing care staff come in to do support calls and personal care, I felt that I had a lot more to offer vulnerable people in their time of need. As the saying goes to be in a job you need to do something that you enjoy, and for me that is getting up early in a morning to go and visit clients ensuring that their day starts off as best as possible, and that I may have made that difference to their day fills my heart with joy.”

“I wish to thank everybody involved in the wonderful care of my aunt. I am so grateful to you all and think her carers are the salt of the earth. It gives me comfort that although I live overseas I know she couldn’t be in better hands.”

“I cannot thank you all from branch staff to care staff for the care that has been provided to my parents. When they became poorly Radis branch staff increased the package of care immediately and the care staff was amazing, they looked after my parents to the best of their ability.”

“They don't rush me; they support me to be as independent as possible. I will chat things through with my main carer, it is always confidential, and I feel at ease with them, we have a really nice relationship.”

“Radis have been my carers in excess of 10 years and in that time I have come to look on them as extended family. The girls are always cheerful and I enjoy the banter and I feel safe in their care. My family and I rely on them enormously and I know that it gives my wife peace of mind to know that I am well cared for. The manager and office staff are unfailingly helpful and we have a good rapport/relationship with them. They will always try to help if we need extra care or make changes, if at all possible. I/we have no hesitation in recommending Radis in Welshpool to other families and we look forward to many more years of their care.”

“Thank you so much for the most amazing, wonderful and caring service you and your team have provided for my mum, especially since she has recently come out of hospital. Constantly checking on her when she came out, you’ve taken a huge weight off my mind – what an amazing service! I would happily recommend Radis Community Care.”
