Radis Community Care is delighted to have been selected as the new provider of care services at two extra care schemes in Cardiff.

From April this year, Radis Community Care will start supporting more than 100 residents at Llys Enfys and Plas Bryn extra care schemes to live independent lives.

Aimed at older people and also a small number of younger adults with disabilities, the schemes offer residents their own private flats with facilities on-site such as cafés, hairdressers and communal gardens.

For those residents who need it, Radis Community Care can support with tasks such as preparing meals, washing and dressing, shopping or getting out and about in the community. The care team is on-site 24/7 to respond to anyone who needs unexpected or emergency support.

Working closely with Cardiff Council and landlord Linc Cymru, Radis Community Care will ensure that residents receive the right support to meet their individual needs whilst retaining as much of their independence as possible.

Paula Hoggarth, Group Operations Director said: “These are fantastic schemes with some great facilities and we’re really looking forward to welcoming some new colleagues to our Radis team, as well as supporting a new group of residents to live safe, independent lives.”

Both schemes also offer respite for home carers and a reablement service for people who need some support following, or to avoid, a hospital stay.
