Radis Community Care has been announced as the new care provider at four extra care schemes in Portsmouth.

In partnership with Portsmouth City Council and housing provider Housing21, Radis will commence providing care to residents at Caroline Square, Brunel Court, Maritime House and Milton Village from 4 May 2021.

The schemes offer more than 200 flats for older people, with extra facilities on site such as dining rooms, communal gardens, hairdressing salons and social activities. Meanwhile the Radis care teams which will be on site 24/7, can support residents with tasks such as preparing meals, washing and dressing, shopping or getting out and about in the community.

Working closely with the Council and housing provider, Radis will ensure that residents receive the right support to meet their individual needs whilst retaining as much of their independence as possible.

Group Operations Director for Radis Community Care, Paula Hoggarth commented: “We’re delighted to get this opportunity to forge a new partnership with Portsmouth City Council. We’re very much looking forward to working with them and Housing 21 to support the residents of these schemes to live independent and fulfilling lives.”
