Radis Community Care has been announced as the new care provider at four extra care schemes in Cambridgeshire.

In partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council and housing providers Sanctuary Retirement Living and Chorus Homes, Radis will commence providing care to residents at Jubilee Court, Park View, Nichols Court and Doddington Court at the end of April.

The schemes offer a combined total of 170 flats for older people, with extra facilities on site such as dining rooms, communal gardens, hairdressing salons and social activities. Meanwhile the Radis care teams which will be on site 24/7, can support residents with tasks such as preparing meals, washing and dressing, shopping or getting out and about in the community.

Working closely with the Council and housing providers, Radis will ensure that residents receive the right support to meet their individual needs whilst retaining as much of their independence as possible.

Radis has been providing support to Cambridgeshire residents since 2010, providing Visiting Care Services to people in their own homes, as well as supporting residents at seven other extra care schemes in the county.

Group Operations Director for Radis Community Care, Paula Hoggarth commented: “Radis has been working with Cambridgeshire County Council for over 10 years and we very much consider ourselves an integral part of the community, supporting vulnerable people across the county and with a range of needs, to remain independent and well through the services we provide.

“We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to further strengthen our relationships with local partners, and are very much looking forward to welcoming some new colleagues to our team as well as making a positive difference to the lives of the residents of these schemes.”
