Powys

Covering Welshpool, Newtown and many surrounding areas across Montgomeryshire, our care workers have been providing visiting care services to frail older people and those with physical and learning disabilities, dementia, mental health problems and other support needs since 2011.

Priding ourselves on helping people to remain as independent as possible in their own homes and as part of their local community, we match up our clients with a suitable care worker that will best meet their needs. We can also accommodate language preferences in English or Welsh.

Our trained staff can help as much or little as our clients need us to, from simply popping in for a chat and a cup of tea, to helping with day to day household tasks, personal care, end of life care and everything in between.

We also offer sitting services which allow any family carers the chance for some respite, with the peace of mind that their loved one is being well cared for whilst they take a break.

BRANCH MANAGER

“Myself and my mother cared for a family member in her last few months. We were unable to have any help due to the lack of care workers available in the area and I joined the industry because of this. Seeing how difficult it was to get care at the time I chose to help by becoming a carer. Sometimes we are the first people our clients see, the look and feeling we get from the client by simply just turning up and sharing a conversation, these little elements make such a positive difference to clients at all stages of their cycle of care. It’s a great feeling to know that you can be there for our clients and help and support them with all of their needs from small to complex.”

“I wish to thank everybody involved in the wonderful care of my aunt. I am so grateful to you all and think her carers are the salt of the earth. It gives me comfort that although I live overseas I know she couldn’t be in better hands.”

“I cannot thank you all from branch staff to care staff for the care that has been provided to my parents. When they became poorly Radis branch staff increased the package of care immediately and the care staff was amazing, they looked after my parents to the best of their ability.”

“They don't rush me; they support me to be as independent as possible. I will chat things through with my main carer, it is always confidential, and I feel at ease with them, we have a really nice relationship.”

“Radis have been my carers in excess of 10 years and in that time I have come to look on them as extended family. The girls are always cheerful and I enjoy the banter and I feel safe in their care. My family and I rely on them enormously and I know that it gives my wife peace of mind to know that I am well cared for. The manager and office staff are unfailingly helpful and we have a good rapport/relationship with them. They will always try to help if we need extra care or make changes, if at all possible. I/we have no hesitation in recommending Radis in Welshpool to other families and we look forward to many more years of their care.”

“Thank you so much for the most amazing, wonderful and caring service you and your team have provided for my mum, especially since she has recently come out of hospital. Constantly checking on her when she came out, you’ve taken a huge weight off my mind – what an amazing service! I would happily recommend Radis Community Care.”
