🌟 Outstanding Colleague of the Year Award 🌟

This year we’re delighted to launch this special award, as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations! This award will be presented to an individual who has had an incredibly positive impact on people we support, colleagues or the organisation within the last 12 months. The award recognises excellence, significant achievements, and a lasting contribution that has improved a service or process, inspired others, or created meaningful positive change.

Who can nominate / be nominated for this new award?

Any employees or anyone associated with Radis can make a nomination, and any Radis employee can be nominated for this new award. This award is for an individual colleague award only and not for a team – if you wish to nominate a team for an award, please enter them for one of the general Radis Care Awards categories here.

How will this new award be judged?

A panel of employees will review all entries once deadline closes.
The panel will shortlist from these and those shortlisted entries will be further vetted. The vetting process will include speaking to the person who made the nomination, other colleagues, management, people we support, and other professionals and stakeholders as necessary. This is to ensure that the information provided in the entry is credible and supported by others, and that the panel believe that the person nominated has fully met the criteria for the award.
From the vetting process, the panel will select finalists. They will produce a summary of details about the person and what outstanding work they have done to deserve being considered for the special award.
The summaries for each finalist will be shared will every colleague across the organisation, and they will be able to vote for the colleague they feel is most deserving of winning the award.
The finalist with most votes will be presented their special award at the annual Radis Care Awards ceremony in November 2026.

Neither the Board or Judges will have any input into selecting the winner, and will find out who the winner is at the ceremony!

Rules for entry

Nominations must be made by someone else, you cannot nominate yourself
All nominations must be seconded by a member of staff at Radis
Entries close 11:59pm 30th August 2026.
Any entries received after the closing time on the closing date will not be considered
All fields must be completed to make a valid nomination
The judging panel may move entries from one category to another if they feel it is more suitable.

Introduction

The following terms and conditions apply to the Radis Care Awards 2026. By taking part in the nomination and awards process you accept and agree to the interaction terms and conditions. We recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the awards process.

Entry

The Radis Care Awards 2026 entries open at on 01/07/2026 and close 30/08/2026. Any entries received before or after the open and closing date and time will not be counted.
For competition entry, entrants must answer the question(s) or complete the task(s) specified and submit the information as indicated in the interaction information.
Entrants may be required to provide their full name, full contact telephone number or other method of contact (if applicable), email address and/or any other information as specified at the time of entering their nomination.
Nominations for awards, must be by the applicable method(s) as indicated in the interaction information which may include any (but not necessarily all) of the following:
1. Website entry: entries via the website are required to follow the instructions on the website as indicated in the interaction information.
2. Phone entry: entries can be made via the phone to the Radis enquiries telephone number on 03301008150.

The Prize

A glass trophy will be awarded to the winners of each category only.
No cash equivalent or alternative prize will be given at the request of the winner and the prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
Radis Group will not be liable where a prize has been lost, damaged or stolen following delivery and such prize will not be replaced.

Privacy

Information and data (“personal data”) which is provided by you during the nomination process will be held by Radis Group and may be used by the company for the purposes of administering the vote.
