Radis Community Care is proud to share the successful launch of a new supported living service in Bradford, further strengthening its ongoing commitment to providing person-centred care in the local community.

Developed in partnership with the local authority and Ling Trust Ltd, Radis has helped to safeguard the future of this service. The property has been used as supported living for many years and with this new lease of life will continue to house more individuals to live independently in the community.

Together, the organisations have ensured that adults with learning disabilities in Bradford continue to have access to high-quality support in a dedicated, homely environment.

Sam Hay, Head of Supported Living Services at Radis Community Care, said: “We are extremely pleased to be working in partnership with Bradford Council and Ling Trust to deliver this service.

“Alongside the people we support, we have recruited local people to work in the service and are confident that the service will have a positive impact.

“We look forward to supporting the individuals achieve their personal goals, and to a long and successful relationship with partners.”

Radis was invited by the local authority to take on the care provision at the site, recognising the team’s proven experience in supporting individuals with diverse needs.

Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “We’re very pleased to work with Radis and Ling Trust to bring this supported living opportunity for the 3 adults in Keighley.

“The property has been refurbished throughout and together with the Social Workers and Radis, we are working with families to ensure that it can be decorated to their own individual tastes.

“Radis have been very proactive working with the people it supports and their families to ensure their transition to the new property can be as smooth as possible.”

Anna Feeley, Chief Executive Officer at Ling Charitable Trust, said: “We were thrilled to be asked to assist with the set-up and become the landlord to the new tenants.

“Working in co-production with the tenants and their families, Radis, the care provider, the local authority, and a very willing and helpful investor, we have created a super home for three people.

“We believe a home is a place where you should feel safe, happy, relaxed and comfortable, a place where you can be you and have your personal things around you, a place where you have made memories, and you decide how your home looks and who comes into it”

“We are excited to be working with the tenants and their care provider, Radis, to make their home their own.”

This initiative reflects a collaborative effort that ensures continuity, stability, and quality care for the people supported.
