South and East Staffordshire and Derbyshire

Covering Burton, Tamworth, South Derbyshire, Ashbourne, South Derbyshire Dales, North Warwickshire and surrounding areas, our carers pride themselves on helping people to remain as independent and well as possible in their own homes, by providing the support that they need with everyday tasks such as preparing meals, cleaning and laundry, personal care and getting dressed, taking medication at the right times and support getting out and about.

Our knowledgeable Care Coordinators have over 20 years of experience between them. They understand each client on a personal level and support our team of more than 60 care workers to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Everyone in the office strives to meet all of our clients, helping them to feel comfortable when talking to the team or asking for support.

The team spends a lot of time volunteering, pulling together to make a difference to the lives of those in their care. In the past, they’ve helped clients move, helped with decorating projects and put up fencing.

SERVICE MANAGER

“I have worked in the Burton Visiting Care Service for over 10 years, starting as a care worker and progressing to Service Manager. I feel that my job is extremely rewarding as I know my team and I are making a positive difference to the lives of the people we care for every day.”

“I wish to thank everybody involved in the wonderful care of my aunt. I am so grateful to you all and think her carers are the salt of the earth. It gives me comfort that although I live overseas I know she couldn’t be in better hands.”

“I cannot thank you all from branch staff to care staff for the care that has been provided to my parents. When they became poorly Radis branch staff increased the package of care immediately and the care staff was amazing, they looked after my parents to the best of their ability.”

“They don't rush me; they support me to be as independent as possible. I will chat things through with my main carer, it is always confidential, and I feel at ease with them, we have a really nice relationship.”

“Radis have been my carers in excess of 10 years and in that time I have come to look on them as extended family. The girls are always cheerful and I enjoy the banter and I feel safe in their care. My family and I rely on them enormously and I know that it gives my wife peace of mind to know that I am well cared for. The manager and office staff are unfailingly helpful and we have a good rapport/relationship with them. They will always try to help if we need extra care or make changes, if at all possible. I/we have no hesitation in recommending Radis in Welshpool to other families and we look forward to many more years of their care.”

“Thank you so much for the most amazing, wonderful and caring service you and your team have provided for my mum, especially since she has recently come out of hospital. Constantly checking on her when she came out, you’ve taken a huge weight off my mind – what an amazing service! I would happily recommend Radis Community Care.”
