Cambridgeshire

Our dedicated team, some of whom have worked in the local area for over six years, pride themselves on helping people to remain well and independent in the place that they feel most comfortable – home.

In Huntingdonshire, our visiting care services provide the support people need with everyday tasks such as going shopping, preparing meals, cleaning and laundry, personal care and getting dressed, taking medication at the right times and support getting out and about. We also support family carers via our sitting service, which allows them to take a break in the knowledge that their loved one is in safe hands.

We also provide a Discharge and Transition service across Cambridgeshire to help support people with their care needs immediately after their discharge from hospital so that they can get back to living as independently as possible, away from hospital and within their own homes.

SERVICE MANAGER

“I began my career in social care in 2012. I was searching for a rewarding and fulfilling career in which I could have a positive impact on people’s lives. After starting my career as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities, I gained valuable experience working with adults with mental health needs, acquired brain injury, people living with dementia, people with physical needs and older adults.

“I am proud to work in this sector, and with this team. I am passionate about delivering an outstanding service to our service users, to aid them to maintain a high overall quality of life.”

“I wish to thank everybody involved in the wonderful care of my aunt. I am so grateful to you all and think her carers are the salt of the earth. It gives me comfort that although I live overseas I know she couldn’t be in better hands.”

“I cannot thank you all from branch staff to care staff for the care that has been provided to my parents. When they became poorly Radis branch staff increased the package of care immediately and the care staff was amazing, they looked after my parents to the best of their ability.”

“They don't rush me; they support me to be as independent as possible. I will chat things through with my main carer, it is always confidential, and I feel at ease with them, we have a really nice relationship.”

“Radis have been my carers in excess of 10 years and in that time I have come to look on them as extended family. The girls are always cheerful and I enjoy the banter and I feel safe in their care. My family and I rely on them enormously and I know that it gives my wife peace of mind to know that I am well cared for. The manager and office staff are unfailingly helpful and we have a good rapport/relationship with them. They will always try to help if we need extra care or make changes, if at all possible. I/we have no hesitation in recommending Radis in Welshpool to other families and we look forward to many more years of their care.”

“Thank you so much for the most amazing, wonderful and caring service you and your team have provided for my mum, especially since she has recently come out of hospital. Constantly checking on her when she came out, you’ve taken a huge weight off my mind – what an amazing service! I would happily recommend Radis Community Care.”
